With the Year 7 STEM program now up and running all the STEM classes have had an opportunity to tackle the first task.

7 Avoca (pictured below) were tasked with designing a sun hat made from cardboard and a limited array of resources. It was obvious from the engagement that team work has developed in the 4 weeks since this group has started at CRC St Albans.  Groups discussed their ideas, agreed on a solution then produced a model to present to their peers. In such a short space of time 7Avoca demonstrated that fun and learning can go hand in hand.

The next project for all the groups will be to design, build, test and evaluate a rubber band racing car.  Let the fun begin!
