Aisling Utri - AFLW Wester Bulldogs  and Hockey Player at VIS

Last Thursday our year 8 students received a visit from Western Bulldogs forward Aisling Utri. She spoke to the students about motivation, resilience, goal-setting, coping with pressure and health/nutrition, as well as the importance of teamwork and collaboration. 

As part of the Discovery program, year 8 students have been learning about the importance of having a positive support network and how to conduct yourself in a team environment - in school, sport and in the wider community.

The visit from Aisling was featured in the Star Weekly newspaper.
